Karin Bartels is a student and artist from the Netherlands where she grew up with a passion for design, styling, jewellery and soon plastic arts and photography. Currently a resident at the Fondation des Etats-Unis, she exhibits her latest photographs of the Jardin du Luxembourg where she mixes the taste of the archive, an ethnographic look and a few pointillist touches. Forbidden Lawn takes a look at the Jardin du Luxembourg, a symbol of Paris. An original result that revisits and questions Parisian traditions in the blink of an eye.
