June. Summer solstice.
It’s time for the great reopening of the many spaces of shared joys we had to give up for a while. Now it is sunny.
As a clin d’oeil to the traditional celebrations of solstice, marking the end of harsh winter times and restrictions, two artists in residence at the FEU are pleased to invite you to share their hopes, joys and impressions of summer in this joint exhibition of their work
Birthdayboy summer 2021 – Timothée Lambert
Timothée Lambert was born at the end of April. As he sadly missed his 2021 birthday party, for everything was closed and his friends all confined, he is now very pleased to convy you to his happy delated birthday party, where he shares the A4 works of 25 of his friends, for his 24th birthday.
Summerratherrr – Rose Vidal
Rose Vidal was born on summer solstice night. It’s her birthday-ish as well as the beginning of her favorite season of the year.
Quite an appropriate time to share her works on the very much needed and important matters of sweetness through an exhibition of her project:
“Je préfère l’été à l’éternité” –rather summer than forever
About the Artists
Born in 1997, Timothée Lambert began his artistic studies in the preparatory class of ENSBA Lyon, before starting at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs. After photography and stage design, he went back to his childhood obsession: drawings, stories, and lettering. His current works are taken and composed from diaries, impulsive ideas, in order to become comfortable with them and to crate intimacy with the reader.
Rose Vidal, born in Paris, is a French artist as well as an art critic. She is a student at l’Ecole des arts décoratifs in Paris, and contributes to AOC media’s publication on contemporary art, literature, and
cinema. Currently in artistic residence at the Fondation des Etats-Unis, she lives and works in Paris.
