What is its role?
The Residents’ Committee represents the residents to the administration, organizes events, and participates in the community life of the house. The Committee is elected at the beginning of the academic year. Traditionally, the Committee organizes a Thanksgiving dinner, an annual 1920s-themed gala, dance and yoga classes, and participation in sports tournaments at the CiuP.
The Committee appoints a representative to the Bureau des Résidents (BDR). The BDR consults with the administration of the CiuP on all matters concerning campus life and organizes events, such as the Fête de la Cité.
