As part of the Jazz à la Cité festival, the Fondation des Etats-Unis proposes to celebrate jazz in pictures with a cine-concert. The LEGG Quartet will accompany silent films from the early 20th century. On the programme: Charles Chaplin, Georges Méliès, Segundo de Chomon, Loïe Fuller, Winsor McCay and Walt Disney, with the help of Lobster Films, specialised in the restoration of old films. Formed in 2015, the LEGG Quartet is a group of friends of the IMEP (formerly the American School of Modern Music) who aim to continue playing together professionally. The LEGG Quartet is a true workshop of ideas and creation, drawing on the individual career paths of each of its members.
