This evening dedicated to new writing for the American stage will feature staged readings from contemporary plays, in conversation with a brilliant member of the young generation of American dramatists. Lindsey Ferrentino is the gifted author of Ugly Lies the Bone, Amy and the Orphans and This Flat Earth, and the guest of honor of the American Dramaturgies for the 21st-Century conference at the Sorbonne Université (March 14th-16th). She will discuss her work, and the power of words spoken on stage today. Readings in English and French by Roopa Chauhan, Simon Mauclair, Emilie Rault, Michaël Roy, Jess Stawpert, Anne-Florence Quaireau and Julie Vatain-Corfdir. This event is organized with the support of the American Embassy in Paris, the Institut des Amériques, Sorbonne Université and the Fondation des États-Unis.
