The Fondation des Etats-Unis welcomes you for a clarinet duo performed by Jenny Maclay, musician resident, and Kristi Hanno, american musician.
Jenny Maclay, clarinet soloist, recitalist and chamber musician, attended the Regional Vandoren Artist program and quickly launched his career. Currently, she is enrolled at the Conservatory of Versailles under the tutelage of Philippe Cuper.
Kristi Hanno is working on her first year as a Clarinet Performance student in the doctoral music program at Arizona State University, studying with Dr. Robert Spring and Dr. Joshua Gardner, where she received her Master of Music degree. She received the Bachelor of Music degree in Clarinet Performance at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa under the guidance of Professor Clarence Padilla. A native of Davenport, Iowa, Ms. Hanno won the Drake University concerto competition in 2012 and the Arizona State University concerto competition in 2013, and was the local Greater Arizona Chapter division winner of the National Society of Arts and Letters woodwind competition and a semi-finalist at the International Clarinet Association’s Young Artist Competition in 2014.
